This was professionally converted from a road car into a dedicated race-winning machine by Angus Archer who formerly ran AMS Porsche. The car has also achieved numerous pole laps in quali & still holds the fastest lap for a 986 around Thruxton race circuit to date.  

As a race car I have been it’s only owner & driver. It  has a proven track record with 13 podium finishes & has been maintained well throughout.The car is ready to race, test or use on track days, with a fair amount of recent work completed & all safety relevant equipment currently in date.

Porsche Boxster 3.2s manual

Boxster 3.2s
IMS,rear main and new clutch fitted.
Dry stored for the last year,starts on the button,no smoke,rattles etc.
Two new rear tyres,bodywork is straight no dings or damage,paint has faded a little but looks really well just being picky.
Spare hard top in black but no fixing kit. Rear screen is cloudy and brittle but also comes with spare convertible hood ready to bolt on.

Porsche Boxster 2002, 986 3.2S. MOT’d. With lots of bits.

Description

Core build by EMC for me in Dec 2020. Kevin builds such strong cars really great things. However it wasn’t to my absolute taste so the car was more or less rebuilt again by myself/Team Parker Racing and refined in time for the 2021 season. 

Essentially this is a class 3 car that we have made to be a competitive car in both CSCC and CALM without taking the p155! We focused on set up, suspension, steering, brakes and gear box. 

The build spec is endless with lots of nice bits. To name a few;

Engine rebuild with super-finished crank

Carrillo rods

Mahle Motorsport pistons

ARP fixings 

IPD Plenum 

K&N filter 

Motorsport iridium plugs

Motorsport coil packs

Only ever run on Mobil 10W60 Motorsport with proper filter.

My own and TEAM PARKER RACING developed set up on the car at the moment which I can leave on and give data for. 

2019 Porsche club champion Ross Morris has been instrumental with this set up, he believes it’s the best 986 he’s driven. Julian Westwood (look him up) agrees! 

I’m big on detail. It’s always the nicest car at the track and I pour hours and ££££’s on it. 

The engine is fresh with perhaps only 5 events on it.

Regular top 5 qualifying, and top ten finishes once I take over from Ross lol!

Class winner and 2nd overall CALM Donington 2024.
